Baby Girl Card

I love Pinterest!  I saw this card in a baby boy theme and made this one for a baby shower that I'm going to in a couple of weeks.

First Cascading Card

My first cascading card!  I was expecting it to be difficult, but it really wasn't.  I'm pretty sure I'll be making more of these cards.  Oh, the possibilities!

Graduation Card

Our great-niece (yes, I said great-niece) is graduating later this month, so I thought I'd see what I could come up with using my new Art Philosophy cartridge.

Her school colors are black and orange, so I dug around in my paper stash and used some of my Close to My Heart papers along with other paper I had in stock.  I love the 3D flowers on the AP cartridge, so of course, I had to add them to the front along with green polka dotted leaves and some black ribbon.

For the inside, I used the Potential Stamp, which is the Stamp of the Month for March from Close to My Heart.  I then attached a small black envelope to the inside flap for her money gift, which could also be used for a gift card. I ran the envelope through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder and attached an orange button with some black twine. So happy she loved her card.  

We received two more graduation cards in mail on Saturday so I'll be making more cards!  

Busy, busy, busy!!

First Card with Art Philosophy Cartridge

This is a card I made with my new Art Philosophy cartridge from Close To My Heart.  I want to show you that you don't necessarily need a lot of bling or embellishments to make a cute card.  The only thing I did do to enhance my card, was to run the paper through my Cuttlebug.

You can see on the card base that I used the Polka Dots Cuttlebug folder and the Divine Swirls folder for the blue mat.  On each of the starbursts, I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and then added one of the 3-D flowers from the AP cartridge.

For the inside of the card, I used the outside layer of the mat that I have on the front of the card.  I added a piece of white cardstock to write my message on.  This is one of the more simple cards I've made and I really like the way it turned out.  I think I will be using the Art Philosophy cartridge alot!

Valentine's Day Wedding Card

This is a card I made for my husband's nephew who is getting married today...Valentine's Day!  I was short on time so this was scrap lifted from splitcoaststampers.com.

Birthday Card

This is a birthday card I made for a friend. Hope she likes it!

The flower on the card and the box are files from SVGcuts.com.  I used coordinating paper for the box and filled it with Hershey's Nuggets. Yum!

Zebra Thank You Card

Here's a simple 'Thank You' card I made using two of my Christmas gifts this year.  The zebra embossing folder (from my son and DIL) was used on the white mat and I used my new Martha Stewart 'Cherish' punches (from hubby) around the edge of the card base.

Santa Letters/Cards

We all know you can write letters to Santa, but sometimes he writes back and these are some of the cards he's sending out this year.

You can find the .svg file for this little snowman at SVGcuts.com.  This is a great website with video instructions on how to put their 3D crafts together.  One of my favorite places to go for great ideas.

Go Cards!

Game one of the World Series between the Cardinals and Rangers is on tonight!  What better time to make a birthday card for our great-nephew who is a Cardinals fan and who is also turning 16.

I watched a video today on how to make an Accordian and Pull Tab Card so this is what I came up with for my card.

I added a pocket on the pull tab for a money holder. I'm sure that's what most 16 year olds prefer.

Birthday Criss Cross Card

I think the criss cross card is one of my new favorites to make.  Dimensions for this card can be found at www.faithabigaildesigns.com.  She is an amazing designer and I am so glad she shares her ideas with everyone.

I think this card will go to the next birthday on my list.

Pink and Black Wedding Card

I scraplifted this idea from another crafter but used the colors of a wedding that we attended this past summer.  I love using my Cuttlebug to add that little extra something to the dress.

Happy World Card Making Day!  Betcha didn't know there was such a thing (I know I didn't).  

We're going to a wedding in a couple of weeks for our nephew and this is the card I made today for the bride and groom. This is the first time I tried the criss cross card (thank you splitcoaststampers.com). I used the Sweethearts cartridge for the Mr. & Mrs. and of course, my Cuttlebug to emboss the cardstock.  Hope they like it!

Bikini/Lingerie Card

I got the idea for this card from another blogger. I thought it was really clever and wanted to try one of my own. At first I couldn't figure out how to cut out the shape of the card since I couldn't find a free .scut file so I went into my SCAL and selected two hearts, flipped one upside down, welded them together and it worked! It's not perfect and still needs some tweaking but I'll save that for another day. You'll have to use your imagination to see that the flower on the 'backside' is actually supposed to be a tattoo.

Izzy's Card

This cute little card was made for a cute little great-niece of mine. I used SCAL and a free .scut file to make the ice cream cone. After everything was cut out I put the pink ice cream in the Swirl folder and ran it through my Cuttlebug. I did the same with the cherry and the cone using the Swiss Dots folder. For the green mat on the card I used the Spots and Dots folder. I added a piece of ribbon and stamped Happy Birthday and the card was done. For the name on the gift bag I used the Plantin SchoolBook cartridge to cut out the letters on paper from the Pink Armadillo Paper Pack and added a larger version of the ice cream cone. Hope she likes it!

Tri-Fold Birthday Card

This is one of the first tri-fold cards that I made for a Sweet 16 Birthday girl. I was surprised by how easy it was to make. I found and printed out directions at http://www.wordpress.com/.

2009 Christmas Card

This was my Christmas card for 2009. I love the way the Cuttlebug and the differents folders add so much to plain cardstock. I used the snowflake folder on white cardstock and added a piece of ribbon; then I attached this to my card with my ATG gun; I stamped the snow family on a piece of white cardstock, colored it in with markers and attached it to a piece of red cardstock and used pop dots to attach this to the card. I printed out a page full (around 30) of "Let it Snow" titles using Christmas Snow font I found for free on the Internet and attached that as well and then I added just a touch of Stickles on one of the snowflakes.
