Fall Charger

The split regal font on this charger is from Denise Hill's Paper Pastime Blog.  She is wonderfully talented in making and sharing her files, and most of them are free.  This particular set of the full alphabet was only $5.00!  You cannot get a better deal than that!  I just sent a picture to the owner of this charger and she loves it!  Can't wait to get it to her.

Happy Fall!

Party Pooper!

My son and DIL have a Halloween party each year and everyone is supposed to dress up.  While I love Halloween, I'm not really a 'dress up' kind of person. I tried to think of something I could vinyl on a t-shirt and I think I hit the nail on the head!

If you think it, you can vinyl it!  LOL

Go Cards!

Game one of the World Series between the Cardinals and Rangers is on tonight!  What better time to make a birthday card for our great-nephew who is a Cardinals fan and who is also turning 16.

I watched a video today on how to make an Accordian and Pull Tab Card so this is what I came up with for my card.

I added a pocket on the pull tab for a money holder. I'm sure that's what most 16 year olds prefer.

Halloween Treats!

I am ready for Halloween!  I have goodie bags filled with candy, coffins filled with candy, little purses  filled with candy, sliders with hot chocolate packets and candy bars, pumpkin straws...

All of this, and we have around 8 - 10 Trick or Treaters, so I'll be packing this up and taking it to my son and DIL's to hand out.  I really wish Cricut was available about 20 years ago when my son was in elementary school so I could have made these for his school parties.

I bought the black bucket at The Dollar Tree and added the vinyl Boo Mask file from SVGcuts.com. This was my first attempt at layering vinyl and it was easier than I had anticipated.

Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Post-It!!

Here's an idea for a quick and easy gift for a teacher or someone who just likes to use Post-It Notes.

The covers are for the 3" x 3" sized Post-Its. The cardstock measures 3 1/2" x 7".  I used my Martha Stewart Scoring Board and scored at 3 1/4" and 3 3/4" and then folded on each score line.  I used my ATG on the back of the Post-It and attached it to cardstock just below the first score line.  All that's left is to decorate the outside.  Have fun!

Diva Onesie

This little onesie was a shower gift for a friend and was so easy and fun to make.  I bought the Diva file from LucyLu Craft, Inc. and the HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl) came from CraftVinyl.com.   There were written instructions in my vinyl order so it made my first attempt a breeze!  Do not be afraid to use HTV!

Birthday Criss Cross Card

I think the criss cross card is one of my new favorites to make.  Dimensions for this card can be found at www.faithabigaildesigns.com.  She is an amazing designer and I am so glad she shares her ideas with everyone.

I think this card will go to the next birthday on my list.

Three Stooges T-Shirt

My husband is a Three Stooges fan, so I did some looking and found this .svg file on the SmartBuyGal forum.  Once you start vinyling, it's hard to go back to paper crafting (but I do).

Cheer Coach T-Shirt

My DIL is the cheerleading coach where teaches and we put together this t-shirt for the new school year.

We also put a little something on the back.

50th T-Shirt

My youngest brother turned 50 this year and I HAD to vinyl this t-shirt for him!

Birthday Banner

This is the first time I tried a birthday banner this large, and I really wasn't prepared for the different types of paper that I was going to need.  I dug through what I had and this is how it turned out...pretty colorful! Maybe I'll try to tone the next one down a bit.

I used the Sweethearts cartridge for the letters and numbers, and watched a video on YouTube to learn how to make the rosettes under each letter. I was pretty happy that they weren't difficult at all to make.

50 Sucks!

A good friend turned the Big 5-0 this week so I thought it was the perfect time to try one of those sucker bouquets that I keep seeing pop up on other crafters' blogs.  It was really fun putting this together, but the most important thing is, the 'birthday girl' seemed to really like it, too.

Pink and Black Wedding Card

I scraplifted this idea from another crafter but used the colors of a wedding that we attended this past summer.  I love using my Cuttlebug to add that little extra something to the dress.

Haunted House

Yes, I made another haunted house, but I gave this one to my DIL.  She's a school teacher and this is perfect for her classroom.  I think I like this one more than the first one I made.

Minnie Mouse Bag

Who doesn't love Minnie Mouse? This little gift bag was for our great niece who just turned one.  Minnie was cut from the Mickey and Friends cartridge.

Happy World Card Making Day!

Happy World Card Making Day!  Betcha didn't know there was such a thing (I know I didn't).

We're going to a wedding in a couple of weeks for our nephew and this is the card I made today for the bride and groom. This is the first time I tried the criss cross card (thank you splitcoaststampers.com). I used the Sweethearts cartridge for the Mr. & Mrs. and of course, my Cuttlebug to emboss the cardstock.  Hope they like it!
